This year SC Theatre will present shows under two distinct Series Productions.
MainStage Series will be the large scale, elaborate musicals typi-cally performed each year. This year’s productions include Oliver! in November and Into the Woods in March. MainStage series’ prices are fixed at $10 adults, $8 senior citi-zens and $6 for students. VIP Seats are $5 extra per ticket and offer you premier seating and complimentary food and drink inside the VIP Lounge during intermission. All seating is reserved.
DownStage Productions will be smaller scale shows. They can be straight plays or short musi-cals and will typically be played “downstage” in front of the Grand Curtain. Designed to focus on the students talents and hone their skills the shows sets will be minimal and the students will be required to create the world for the audience with their performance. This is an opportunity for the talents of the students to really shine as the focus will be on them and not on an elaborate sets or superfluous spectacle.
The shows prices can vary and seating is typically general admission. Some shows have limited seated and tickets can sell out quickly.
The box office is open 5-7 PM one week prior to all performances. Download the ticket reservation form or call our 24-hour ticket line, 812-246-7440.
